xr-:o- �a rS _- our u (vFUtr ? 7b--4-*JU,4 r.Oi e7c <br /> i EMERSON WALDORF SCHOOL 12 <br /> 6211 New Jericho Road <br /> Chapel Hill, North Carolina 27516 019 0 - u r <br /> Chairman AUG 2 7 l <br /> Moses Carey, Jr., �f <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> 200 South Cameron Street <br /> Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278 <br /> Re: Construction of Cellular Towers in Orange County <br /> Dear Mr. Carey: <br /> We request your office and the offices of those others listed below to immediately <br /> direct copies of this letter to all public officials involved with deciding whether or not to <br /> permit construction of cellular towers in Orange County specifically including the proposed <br /> cellular tower near and strenuously objected to by the Emerson Waldorf School of which <br /> I am President of the Board. <br /> Specifically, we request that appropriate Orange County officials immediately put <br /> into full force and effect a policy which requires any applicant applying for permission to <br /> erect a cellular tower anywhere in Orange County to file a statement as part of the <br /> application and thirty (30) days before a public hearing is held stating the following: <br /> (a) A description of the applicant's perceived needs and why the specific location <br /> applied for is deemed to be the only location suited to the applicant's needs. <br /> (b) Describe with specificity all frequencies to be broadcast by the tower and for each <br /> antenna on the tower the relative power of each frequency: <br /> (i) at the tower site; <br /> (ii) 1000 feet removed from the tower site; and <br /> (iii) 2000 feet removed from the tower site. <br /> (c) A description of what antennas other than applicant's antenna are intended to be <br /> installed on the tower and the names of the owners of such other antennas. <br /> (d) A description of all studies applicant has made which led to choosing the site <br /> chosen. <br /> (e) A description of efforts applicant has made to obtain other parties to share the <br /> tower selected or for applicant to use an already existing tower. <br /> (f) A motion of efforts applicant expects to make in the future to obtain other <br /> parties to share the tower. 0. <br /> post.r Fax Note 7671 °M° Mom <br /> To FWR <br /> GOD"* co. <br /> to <br />
