You <br /> state that the school plans to add a new building to its campus in <br /> Durham, but that the addition of this building will not increase <br /> the staff or the student enrollment. You have requested that we <br /> let you know what is required with regard to the wastewater <br /> treatment and disposal facilities. <br /> The Carolina Friends School is currently served by a wastewater <br /> spray irrigation system authorized by Permit No. WQ0002161, which <br /> was issued on July 15, 1992 . This permit is for the operation of <br /> a 4000 GPD system. As long as the new building will not result in <br /> additional wastewater flow becoming tributary to the wastewater <br /> spray irrigation system, it will not be necessary to modify Permit <br /> No. WQ0002161; however, you should speak with the local building <br /> inspector about the approval of any building laterals associated <br /> with this building addition. <br /> If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact <br /> Randy Jones at 571-4700 . <br /> Sincerely, <br /> K- enneth Schuster P.
