0 <br /> health and hygiene; <br /> receiving and screening. <br /> F) the following miscellaneous items: <br /> standing orders for inmates in: isolation, <br /> chemically dependent, detoxification, and <br /> special medical care, hospitals, need of <br /> preventative care, chronic care, convalescent <br /> care; <br /> - health kit contents, number, location and <br /> inspection procedures; <br /> - access to diagnostic services; <br /> - notification of next of kin for serious <br /> illness, injury or death; <br /> - coordination/notification of medical examiner <br /> for post-mortem exam; <br /> - coordination with other County departments on <br /> health inspections and the facility's disaster <br /> plan; <br /> - peer review; <br /> - information sharing; <br /> - psychiatric patient handling; <br /> - transfer of ill patients. <br /> 2) County reserves the right to require any modifications <br /> to the manual that it deems reasonably necessary to <br /> provide adequate policies and procedures which meet its <br /> responsibilities under federal, state and local laws. <br /> 3) The manual after completion will be the exclusive <br /> property of County. <br /> C) Reporting t <br /> 1) Medical Group shall meet at least quarterly with the <br /> sheriff to discuss the inmates' health care status and <br /> the facility health care plan. <br /> 2) Medical Group shall submit a quarterly report to the <br /> sheriff which will include: <br /> 4 <br />
