This tremendous contribution is helping many
Orange County citizens live better lives.
In addition, Retired volunteers from all walks of life play a vital role in
the success of schools, libraries, community centers, senior centers, health
services, and many other social service agencies.
Orange County's Retired Senior Volunteer effort is a movement that is a
living testimonial to the human spirit. This selfless giving to others is making
it possible to continue vital programs, even with limited resources.
WHEREAS, the RSVP has provided volunteer management programming
for Orange County non-profit agencies since 1973, we celebrate twenty-three
years of service.
WHEREAS, 2,065 RSVP Volunteers have donated 1,221,169 hours to
Orange County non-profit agencies since 1973.
