The revisions include <br /> a prohibition on home occupation permits for certain uses such as <br /> automotive repair and construction contracting, reduce the maximum <br /> amount of accessory building and outdoor storage area required, and <br /> provide specific limits on traffic generation and vehicle size. <br /> • Use of Historic Sites (Class A Special Use) <br /> The proposed amendment was initiated by Commissioner Crowther and <br /> would specify that that property as well as structures may be considered in <br /> the consideration of Special Use Permits for non-residential use of historic <br /> structures. <br /> SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS TEXT AMENDMENTS <br /> • Recordation of Plats <br /> The proposed amendment, initiated by the Planning Staff and County <br /> Attorney, is technical in nature and would provide consistency between <br /> ordinance provisions and administrative practices in the recordation of <br /> subdivision plats by eliminating the provision that plats be recorded in the <br /> presence of the Planning Staff. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the advertisement for public <br /> hearing on May 28, 1996. <br />
