50 <br /> 3. Conventional Subdivision Option: The Conventional Subdivision Option shall contain <br /> the following information: <br /> a. The proposed street layout within the subdivision, including travelway and right- <br /> of-way widths, and connection to existing streets; <br /> b. The location of soils suitable for individual septic systems as determined by: <br /> • Preliminary soil suitability analyses of ten to fifteen percent (10% to 15%) <br /> of the proposed lots; or <br /> • Provision of a map showing the location of soil types suited for septic <br /> systems as based on the Orange County, N.C. Soil Survey. The map shall <br /> be prepared in consultation with the Soil Scientist of the Environmental <br /> Health Division of the Health Department. <br /> C. The proposed arrangement of lots within the subdivision, including size and <br /> number, as based on soil suitability analysis. <br /> 4. Flexible Development Option: The Flexible Development Option shall contain the <br /> following information: <br /> a. The proposed arrangement of lots within the subdivision, including size and <br /> number. <br /> b. The proposed street layout within the subdivision, including travelway and right- <br /> of-way widths, and connection to existing streets. <br /> C. The location, type, and area of the open space proposed in the subdivision, <br /> including open space to be preserved: <br /> • In a separate lot or lots under the ownership of a homeowners association. <br /> • As part of individually owned lots through a conservation easement <br /> applicable to multiple lots. <br /> • As part of individually owned estate lots through designation of buildable <br /> areas and the use of restrictive covenants. <br /> • In a separate lot or lots through dedication for public use, such as a park <br /> site, to a unit of local government, state government or a private land <br /> conservancy. <br /> d. The location of proposed water supply and sewage disposal facilities, including: <br />
