13 <br /> • Revise Section III-D-14 Public Information Meeting, and e, Planning <br /> Department Review Procedures, to provide wording changes which clarify that <br /> the meeting is a Neighborhood Information Meeting (see pages 45-46 of this <br /> abstract). <br /> This provision has been revised to reflect the concern expressed about an <br /> "informational"meeting being treated as a 'public hearing". <br /> • Revise Section IV-D-10-B, Applicability, to eliminate Minor Subdivisions from <br /> the requirement of complying with the Flexible Development standards. Wording <br /> has been added to encourage working with staff to identify/preserve open space <br /> areas(see pages 19-20 of this abstract). <br /> Revision of this provision is consistent with the Planning Board's <br /> recommendation as well as the discussion of the Board of Commissioners. <br /> • Revise Section IV-D-10-D.5, Street Standards, to eliminate the proposed Class <br /> AA Private Road which would permit more than 25 lots to be served by a private <br /> road. Also, revise Sections D.2, Conservation Option, and D.3, Cluster Option, <br /> to eliminate the provision which allows right-of-way to be counted as part of the <br /> lot size(see pages 26,27,and 36 of this abstract).. <br /> Revisions to these provisions have been nee to ad ess Commissioner <br /> concerns and provide consistency of staurfardsfor all types of development. <br /> • Revise Section IV-D-10-C.3, Ownership of Open Space, to add a provision <br /> which allows land protected through a conservation easement prior to <br /> development application to be counted toward satisfying the open space <br /> requirement(see page 23 of this abstract). <br /> This provision is consistent with the Planning Board's recommendation and <br /> reflects discussions Jnvolving the staff, Triangle Land Conservancy <br /> representatives, aid the County Attorney. <br /> • Revise Section N-D-10 by adding a new subsection H entitled"Annual Report" <br /> which provides for a continuous tracking system and the development option <br /> selected; e.g., conventional vs. flexible development, to pursue in the preliminary <br /> Plan stage(see Page 44 of this abstract). <br /> The need for an ainual report has been rated by the staff as well as the <br /> Planning Board aid Board of Commissioners Although preparation of such a <br /> report could be handled through direction from the Board, the proposed <br /> amendment would formalize the requirement in ordinance forma <br />
