Sealed bids were received from <br /> participating contractors on March 14, 1996 and opened on the same days <br /> respectively. Bid results are attached. <br /> Present program procedures provide that housing rehabilitation contracts be <br /> awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. The lowest responsible bidder for <br /> both dwellings is Taylor Home Improvements. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> The Manager recommends awarding the following rehabilitation contract: <br /> Dwelling Unit Bid Amount Contractor <br /> #1 $ 29,735 Taylor Home Improvements <br /> #3 $ 29,999 Taylor Home Improvements <br />
