Orange County Emergency Management receives funds for <br /> administrative support in coordinating fire training, provided by Durham Tech. The contract <br /> for $7,705.00 (seven thousand seven hundred five dollars) is to be renewed. The arrangement <br /> is unanimously endorsed by the Orange County Chiefs' Council. <br /> Operation under this contract has proven to be very beneficial in past years, by improving <br /> access to needed training for Orange County volunteer fire-fighters. <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS: The Manager recommends that the Board approve the contract <br /> renewal and authorize the Chair to sign, subject to review by the County Attorney. <br />
