The UNC Department of Family Medicine will
cover the daily operating expenses for this person, including telephone, office space, basic supplies, and,
if necessary, the required computer support.
At the end of the pilot year, the project will be reviewed with any surplus revenue used to cover
the shared expenses. We understand, though, that because this is a pilot project there is no guarantee
of any reimbursement for overhead expenses and we are willing to assume this risk.
We look forward to working with you in this innovative undertaking as we strive to provide
quality care to women and children of North Carolina.
Sincerely,
Ken Reeb, M.D.
Professor and Chair
