2 f. <br /> Application Summary <br /> Housing Development Program <br /> Efland Estates, Phase II <br /> Description <br /> Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, Inc (HHOC) plans <br /> to acquire a 4 . 67 acre site off Gregg St. in the Efland <br /> community for the development of ten single family homes . <br /> In the beginning phase, HHOC will develop five lots, <br /> approximately 40, 425 square feet, by building single family <br /> homes for low income first-time homebuyers. <br /> 3 - Three bdrm. units - 1050 sq. ft. $46, 000 <br /> 2 - Four bdrm. units - 1200 sq. ft. $52, 000 <br /> Habitat will raise the funds necessary for actual <br /> construction and will build the housing utilizing their <br /> sweat-equity method. <br /> Housing development funds are being sought to finance <br /> the infrastructure necessary in this small subdivision. <br /> Specifically, the proposed activities are street <br /> improvements including paving and water/sewer installation. <br /> The area is presently served by Orange Alamance Water System <br /> and the Efland sewer system which can be extended to serve <br /> the proposed community. <br /> TOTAL ESTIMATED COST <br /> 1 .
