42 <br /> 2. Appealing the violation ruling of the Zoning Enforcement Officer to the <br /> Orange County Board of Adjustment; <br /> 3. . Declaring the business to be solely for bona fide farm purposes, as <br /> described in the North General Statues § 153A.340. Grant of Power. <br /> Bona fide farm purposes include the production and <br /> activities relating or incidental to the production of crops, <br /> fruits, vegetables, ornamental and flowering plants, dairy, <br /> livestock, poultry, and all other forms of agricultural <br /> products having a domestic or foreign market. <br /> and reducing the scope of the business to operate within the <br /> bona fide farm parameters established by the General Statutes. <br /> Bona Fide farms are exempt from Orange County zoning <br /> regulations. <br /> 4. Applying for a Class A Special Use Permit for an Historic <br /> Structures --Non-Residential Reuse/Mixed Use. <br /> This Application represents the owner's choice of Option Number 4. <br /> PROPOSED CLASS A SPECIAL USE <br /> Historic Structures - Non-Residential Reuse/Nfixed Use <br /> Provisions and standards of evaluation for Historic Structures - Non- <br /> Residential Reuse/Mixed Use (Class A Special Use) are found in Section <br /> 8.8.24 of the Orange County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Intent <br /> The purpose of the Class A Special Use Permit for Historic Structure - <br /> Non-Residential Reuse/Mixed Use is to provide for the non-residential <br /> productive use of historical and culturally significant properties which <br /> is complimentary and compatible with surrounding areas and <br /> appropriate in location with the given character of surrounding <br /> development. <br /> Standards of Evaluation <br /> The following specific standards shall be used in deciding on an <br /> application for this use: <br /> a) The site plan meets all requirements specified in Sections 8.8 <br /> (a) and 8.8.24.1(a) of the Orange County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> b) Proposed uses and facilities are complementary and compatible <br /> with surrounding areas, and appropriate in the location <br />
