At the January 23 , 1996 <br /> Cable TV Citizen Advisory Committee Meeting, members <br /> suggested extending Time Warner' s Franchise Agreement to <br /> provide additional time to conduct renewal negotiations . <br /> We are hopeful the County and Time Warner will agree on <br /> terms of the Franchise within the next few months . The <br /> 12-month extension will offer ample time to negotiate, <br /> if needed. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : The Manager recommends that the Board adopt the <br /> resolution extending Time Warner' Cable TV <br /> Franchise until February 24 , 1997 . <br />
