The group received a <br /> charge to update the 1988 Data Scan, to produce an environmental scan of existing programs, to <br /> review the 1989 Plan and identify areas of accomplishment and areas that need additional work, <br /> to promote a broad discussion of major economic development issues, and, finally, to prepare and <br /> recommend an Updated Strategic Plan <br /> Recommendation: The Manager recommends that the Commissioners receive the Updated <br /> Strategic Plan and adopt it to provide guidance for Orange County economic development <br /> activities. <br />
