Elementary and Middle School square footage included in <br /> this level of school facility is as follows: <br /> Elementary School - 1,862 square feet <br /> Middle School - 1,620 square feet <br /> • Tier 3 includes all other space identified by the two school systems for inclusion <br /> in a school At the elementary level this additional space is primarily for <br /> additional storage, staff support areas and a student commons area. For the middle <br /> school the space identified in this level includes student project rooms, team <br /> meeting rooms, additional music rooms, additional storage, a video production <br /> laboratory and a larger student commons area. The <br /> life cycle of a school is expected to be a minimum of 50 years. Schools are to be retrofitted for <br /> technology.
