(Continued) ARTS EDUCATION - THEATRE ARTS <br /> If the board of education chooses to build a high school <br /> auditorium,consideration should be given to seating the <br /> largest class (ADM) x 8 sq. ft. plus about 4,000 square <br /> feet for the stage,storage and a small lobby.The audito- <br /> rium should be planned as a theatre,with suitable acous- <br /> tical design,lighting system,sound system,storage,and <br /> support facilities such as makeup and scenery construc- <br /> tion spaces. The entire facility should be designed for <br /> theatre arts instruction,although this will be a multipur- <br /> pose space.
