Staff needs direction from the Board as to <br /> whether the County is interested in pursuing such a lease . The <br /> landlord has indicated'-that it may have to offer the space to another <br /> prospective tenant if the County does not indicate now its intent to <br /> lease the space . If the Board wishes to arrange a lease, it could be <br /> brought back for formal approval by the Board of Commissioners at the <br /> February 5 meeting. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board discuss the <br /> information included in the December 19 memo and provide appropriate <br /> direction to staff. <br />
