(Report-Appendix A) <br /> The Committee' s charge was to prepare a long-range county <br /> plan for developing senior citizens centers in to the 21st <br /> Century. The thirteen member Committee was recruited in <br /> the fall of 1994 and began its work in February, 1995 with <br /> the review of past reports, current senior center operations <br /> and demographic projections. After site visits to all senior <br /> centers and community centers, the Committee held several <br /> monthly meetings in the fall in order to develop its <br /> primarily recommendations found in the attached Interim <br /> Report. <br /> Because of the importance of the Senior Centers Development <br /> Plan, the Committee deliberately revised the timetable for <br /> completing the planning process to May, 1996.
