Fikes, x 2490 <br /> TELEPHONE NUMBER <br /> Hillsborough 732-8181 <br /> Chapel Hill 968-4501 <br /> Mebane 227-2031 <br /> Durham 688-7331 <br /> ----------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> PURPOSE: To approve the impact fee reimbursement request from <br /> Habitat for Humanity in the amount of $2, 250. <br /> BACKGROUND: On -November 1, 1995, the BOCC approved a policy for impact <br /> fee reimbursement to local non-profit organizations meeting the <br /> established eligibility criteria. <br /> The County has received a reimbursement request from Habitat for Humanity <br /> of Orange County. Specifically, the agency is asking for $2, 250 in <br /> reimbursement for impact fees paid for three houses that are in process <br /> or completed. The houses are located at the following addresses: <br /> 1 . 2402 Gemena Road; Bingham Township <br /> 2 . 405 Alpha Drive; Cheeks Township <br /> 3. 223 Richmond Road; Cheeks Township <br /> All houses are/will be occupied by families earning between $13, 000 and <br /> $15, 000 per year. <br /> There is a line-item in the current year Community Development Program <br /> budget for these, expenditures. The current balance is $12, 046.00. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> The Manager recommends approval of the impact fee reimbursement request <br /> from Habitat for Humanity in the amount of $2, 250. <br />
