�o�at► of� <br /> b <br /> it sz <br /> x0,19 Cato V. <br /> Orange County <br /> Financial Services Department <br /> August 22, 2013 <br /> RFP 5196 <br /> Cultural and Archaeological Survey of the McGowan Creek Sewer Interceptor Line <br /> REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br /> Orange County is seeking proposals to procure the services of a qualified and experienced <br /> archaeologist to conduct a survey of cultural and archaeological resources of the project <br /> construction site of the proposed McGowan Creek Sewer Interceptor. This project consists of <br /> the construction of a buried gravity sewer line approximately 2100 feet long, extending from <br /> Brookhollow Road westward to Efland-Cedar Grove Road in Efland, Orange County, NC. The <br /> information obtained through this survey will be used to identify the presence or absence of <br /> any significant resources of historic and cultural interest and to avoid damage to those <br /> resources during the construction of the sewer line. <br /> All proposals must address the contractor's qualifications and ability to carry out the project work <br /> in accordance with the accompanying Scope of Work, within the specified time frames, and are <br /> to include, but not be limited to the following: <br /> 1. A discussion of the research design for the proposed investigation <br /> 2. A discussion of the field and laboratory methods to be employed <br /> 3. A work schedule for the proposed survey <br /> 4. Resumes articulating qualifications of all members of the project team, including, but not <br /> limited to the Principal Investigator(s) and field director(s). <br /> 5. A list of all similar projects completed by the proposer over the past five (5) years, along <br /> with current contact names and telephone numbers <br /> 6. A Cost Proposal to complete all elements of the scope of work described herein <br />
