NORTH CAROLINA <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE LEASE AGREEMENT RENEWAL <br /> WHEREAS, a lease agreement was made and entered into as of the 5th day of June, 1989 by and between Orange County, <br /> hereinafter referred to as the County, and Dr. James C. Thompson and wife, Betty A. Thompson,hereinafter referred to as <br /> the Owner, for property on Bradshaw Quarry Road to be used as a solid waste collection site. <br /> WHEREAS, the County and the Owner wish to renew the lease agreement as amended; <br /> NOW THEREFORE,the County and the Owner mutually agree to the following: <br /> 1. Section 2"The Lease", shall be modified to read as follows: <br /> "The lease renewal will commence on July 1, 1999 and will continue through June 30, 2004, excepting <br /> either the Owner or County may terminate the lease upon giving ninety days (90) written notice to the <br /> other. County shall pay to Owner rent in the amount of$200 per month, for each and every month of the <br /> term of this lease,payable on or before the first day of each month of the lease term." <br /> 2.
