Grier, 919 - 245 -2450 <br />Todd LoFrese, 919 - 967 -8211 <br />Pam Jones, 919 - 732 -8126 <br />PURPOSE: To provide updated Pre -K program information from both school systems for FY <br />2013 -14, and continue discussion of its impact on capacity. <br />BACKGROUND: At the April 25, 2013 Joint Boards meeting, both school systems provided <br />Pre -K program information with respect to their number and types of classrooms, as well as <br />program structure, funding sources, enrollment levels, and staffing levels. Attachments A and <br />B, on tonight's agenda, provide updated information for FY 2013 -14. <br />Also, included for review, as Attachment C, are the draft minutes from the April 25, 2013 Joint <br />Boards meeting regarding Pre -K classroom discussion. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is not a financial impact related to receiving this information. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Boards accept the information <br />and provide feedback and direction to staff. <br />
