Mr.Sheridan's clinics <br /> include flexibility exercises,"Breathing Gym"instruction,and demonstrations on how to use the entire <br /> lung capacity to improve sound. <br /> 4.Budget Sheet(Attached) <br /> S.Arts Program Application Narrative: <br /> School Profile <br /> Cedar Ridge High School is one of two high schools in the Orange County School System. It is located just <br /> south of downtown Hillsborough off of Orange Grove Road. There are 1084 students and 68 teachers. <br /> The ethnic make-up includes 70%Caucasian,17%afro-American,11%Hispanic,<1%Asian and 2%Multi- <br /> cultural. Twenty percent are enrolled in the free or reduced lunch program.There are 100 students <br /> enrolled in band. <br /> School Arts Programs <br /> At Cedar Ridge High School,cultural arts are promoted and revered. Students are offered electives and <br /> opportunities in band,chorus,theatre,improvisational comedy,visual arts,graphics,woodworking,and <br /> videography. <br /> Proposed Uses of Grant Funds <br /> Grant funds will cover Mr.Sheridan's professional fee plus a portion of his travel expenses.Cedar Ridge is <br /> one of five Orange County High and Middle Schools applying for a day long residency with Mr.Sheridan. <br /> If all five schools receive funding,the travel expenses will be divided among the participating schools. <br />
