a <br /> Tuesday March 4, 2014 <br /> $850 per show(2 shows) <br /> 9:15 AM: Kindergarten-2nd grade, approximately 250 students <br /> 10:30 AM: 3`d-5t"grade, approximately 250 students <br /> Glenwood Elementary is well equipped to host these exciting performance groups. Our <br /> performance stage will accommodate the casts of each group. The academic and <br /> administrative staff of Glenwood fully supports our efforts to bring these groups to our <br /> school. Our PTA is fully prepared to host the event. The Art and Music departments are <br /> also fully prepared to help finalize details of the show and support curriculum connections <br /> in the classroom. Representatives of our PTA will be onsite to assist as needed <br /> throughout all performances. <br /> Through the Carrboro Arts Center, our PTA is already in contact with the artists and are <br /> ready to facilitate their trip to Chapel Hill should we receive the requested grant monies. <br /> We at Glenwood are very excited about the opportunity to apply for funding that would <br /> facilitate bringing these exciting artists to our school. The lives of students and families <br /> would be greatly enriched by these events.
