Jeannette Brossart,Mosaic Artist Bio
Select work samples for Kidzu Children's Museum
Jeannette Brossart, professional mosaic artist, continues to strengthen her skills as an
individual artist and arts educator. During the past three years, while working with Kidzu
Children's Museum, developing and implementing a very successful mosaic program
combining art, math, history, and hands on learning, she has expanded her professional
knowledge with three educational workshops focusing on curriculum integration, and
inclusion strategies for people with disabilities. Since 2011 she has facilitated over
twenty mosaic residencies and numerous workshops for people of all ages 3-83. She is a
current CAPS and NC ARTS Council teaching artist and continues to create her own
sculptural and 2D mosaic artworks most notably for the North Carolina Botanical Garden
Annual Sculpture Show and City of Salisbury Sculpture Show. Working with recycled
and scrap materials also continues to be an important aspect of her work and personal
commitment.
