Mr.Sheridan's clinics include flexibility <br /> exercises,"Breathing Gym"instruction,and demonstrations on how to use the entire lung capacity to <br /> improve sound. <br /> 4.Budget Sheet(Attached) <br /> 5.Arts Program Application Narrative: <br /> School Profile <br /> Orange High School is one of two high schools in the Orange County School System. It is located inside <br /> the town of Hillsborough just north of Hwy 70 and west of 86N. There are about 1200 students with 160 <br /> in band.The ethnic make-up includes 67%Caucasian,27%afro-American,5%Hispanic,and 1%Asian. <br /> Twenty-five percent are enrolled in the free or reduced lunch program. <br /> School Arts Programs <br /> At Orange High School,cultural arts are promoted and revered. Students are offered electives and <br /> opportunities in band,chorus,theatre,and visual arts. <br /> Proposed Uses of Grant Funds <br /> Grant funds will cover Mr.Sheridan's professional fee plus a portion of his travel expenses.Orange High is <br /> one of five Orange County High and Middle Schools applying for a day long residency with Mr.Sheridan. <br /> If all five schools receive funding,the travel expenses will be divided among the participating schools. <br />
