My studies have focused on the use of technology <br />GIS and databases in identifying, analyzing data related to cultural <br />resources. From 2008 to 2012 I worked full time and completed my <br />fieldwork for my PhD Dissertation. The dissertation focuses on Alluvial <br />Geomorphology and their impact on Archaeological Settlement Patterns. <br />In addition to my formal education I have also received training and <br />certificates in the following: <br />Section 106 Cultural Resource Management (2010) <br />ARPA Archaeological Resource Protection Act) Certification (2011) <br />Certificate in Microsoft Access (2008) <br />Certificate in Structured Query Language (SQL)(2010) <br />Certificate in HTML and CSS (2011) <br />ESRI Certificate in ArcGIS 10 Desktop Tools and Analysis <br />Mywork(2008 -2012) as an Archaeologist and GIS Specialist at the Cultural <br />Resources Team of Fort Bragg allowed me to improve my abilities to use <br />technology to manage cultural resources. My duties included: <br />Coordination with with NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) reviewers <br />Conducting Section 106 Cultural Resource impact review and assessment <br />Conducting archaeolgical survey <br />Developing GIS databases <br />Developing VBA code and maintain MS Access relational databases <br />(frontend and backend)for all archaeological and historic architecture data <br />Extracting transferring, loading, and organizing data to maintain Access <br />databases for all cultural resource projects and data calls <br />Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis <br />Communicating with project team members and other stakeholders to <br />define data needs, project requirements, and desired outputs <br />
