6 1 P a g e <br />Hours of Operation <br />Our plan is for the new center to be open 6 days a week and for special events. <br />• Monday through Friday, the center will be open from 10am -2pm with volunteer <br />staff to maintain a place for seniors and mother's morning out programs. <br />• Then there will be a paid staff position to run the afterschool program from <br />2:30pm -6pm. <br />• From 6pm -8pm there will be classes for adults such as ESL, home ownership, <br />health & fitness to name a few. <br />• On Saturdays the center will be open for special events and as a safe place for <br />children to play and use the computer equipment. <br />• There will a locked pantry to house the PORCH food donations. <br />• There will be a lending library open to the community supplied by Harvest <br />Books. <br />• There will be a computer classroom to help students with their homework and <br />other adults in the area learn how to communicate with computers. <br />Financial Forecasting: <br />We are projecting paying for a part time staff person during the week to work the front <br />desk, a part time Director to coordinate programming, a part time book keeper and an <br />Administrator to pursue grant funding and to make sure the Community Center stays <br />involved with the County, Towns and other organizations.
