2 <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: The total funding available for reimbursement through the two year grant <br /> is $138,420. Annual position costs will be approximately $60,000. Salary and benefit costs for <br /> the period October 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014 total $44,990. Funds for direct operational <br /> expenses and volunteer mileage reimbursement are also included in the grant funding. For FY <br /> 2013-14, these costs total $4,634. FY 2014-15 Personnel and operating expenses will be <br /> included in the department's budget request. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board accept grant funds of <br /> $49,624 for FY 2013-14 from the NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Public <br /> Transportation Division for the Mobility Management project; approve and authorize the <br /> -Manager to sign the contract; approve Budget Amendment #1-C; and establish the mime-limited <br /> Human Services Coordinator position through June 30, 2015. <br />
