Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release property tax <br /> values for three (3) taxpayers with a total of seven (7) bills that will result in a reduction of <br /> revenue in accordance with North Carolina General Statute 105-381. <br /> d. FY2013-14 Home and Community Care Block Grant for Older Adults Funding Plan <br /> The Board approved the recommended Home and Community Care Block Grant (HCCBG) for <br /> Older Adults Funding Plan for FY2013-14 in the amount of$506,206 and authorizing the Chair <br /> to sign. <br /> e. Fiscal Year 2012-13 Budget Amendment#11 <br /> The Board approved budget amendments and an updated grant project ordinance for fiscal <br /> year 2012-13. <br /> f. Application for North Carolina Education Lottery Proceeds for Orange County <br /> Schools (OCS) and Contingent Approval of Budget Amendment#11-A Related to <br /> OCS Capital Project Ordinances <br /> The Board approved an application to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction <br /> (NCDPI) to release funds from the NC Education Lottery account related to FY 2012-13 debt <br /> service payments for Orange County Schools, and to approve Budget Amendment#11-A <br /> (amended School Capital Project Ordinances), contingent on the State's approval of the <br /> application and authorize the Chair to sign. <br /> h. Comprehensive Plan and Unified Development Ordinance Outline and Schedule for <br /> Upcoming Item — UDO Text Amendment Related to Governmental Uses <br /> The Board approved process components and a schedule for a Planning <br /> Director initiated item for amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) <br /> recommended for hearing at the September 9, 2013 Quarterly Public Hearing. <br /> i. Legal Advertisement for Quarterly Public Hearing — September 9, 2013 and Notice of <br /> Possible Work Session at Conclusion of Hearing <br /> The Board considered the legal advertisement for items to be presented at the joint Board of <br /> County Commissioners/Planning Board Quarterly Public Hearing scheduled for September 9, <br /> 2013, and provide notification of a possible work session item at the conclusion of the hearing. <br /> L Approval of Updated Orange County Volunteer Fire Department Agreements <br /> The Board approved updated fire protection and emergency services agreements between <br /> Orange County and each volunteer fire department (Caldwell, Cedar Grove, Efland, Eno, New <br /> Hope, Orange Grove, Orange Rural, and White Cross) and authorized the Chair to sign. <br /> k. Approval of Updated North Chatham Fire Protection Agreement <br /> The Board approved the updated fire protection and emergency services agreement between <br /> Orange County and the North Chatham Fire Department and authorized the Chair to sign. <br /> I.
