VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> b. Orange-Alamance Boundary Land Use and Zoning Atlas Amendments - Public <br /> Hearing Closure and Action (No Additional Comments Accepted) <br /> The Board received the Planning Board's recommendation, closed the public hearing, <br /> and made a decision on Planning Director initiated map amendments to the 2030 <br /> Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map and the Zoning Atlas to extend land use <br /> categories and zoning for parcels being located within Orange County's planning jurisdiction in <br /> conjunction with the formalization of the Orange-Alamance county line. <br /> Michael Harvey said this is with regard to the extension of existing zoning and land use <br /> designations for eleven properties along Eliza Lane. He referenced the map in the <br /> Commissioners' packets. He reviewed the map and the Planning Director's recommendations. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin referred to the map and asked if the section outlined in yellow is <br /> part of the existing parcels immediately to the right. <br /> Michael Harvey said yes, and he distinguished the existing and previous county line. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Price to: <br /> 1. Receive the Planning Board's recommendation; <br /> 2. Close the public hearing; and <br /> 3. Decide accordingly and/or adopt: <br /> a. Attachment 3 β€” Resolution Amending the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use <br /> Map <br /> b. Attachment 4 β€” Resolution Concerning Statement of Consistency of a Proposed <br /> Zoning Atlas Amendment with the Adopted Orange County 2030 Comprehensive Plan <br /> c. Attachment 5 β€”An Ordinance Amending the Orange County Zoning Atlas authorizing <br /> the zoning and land use map amendments as detailed herein. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> Commissioner Price noted that for this public hearing, as well as another item, there is <br /> a statement that people with physical disabilities who want to attend need to give 48 hours <br /> notice. She said she would like to see something that sounds more inviting than this and she <br /> hopes that if someone wants to attend within 24 hours, that the Board could accommodate <br /> them. <br /> Chair Jacobs suggested that the Clerk's office look into this. <br /> 7. Regular Agenda <br /> a. Approval of Fiscal Year 2013-14 Budget Ordinance, County Grant Projects, <br /> and County Fee Schedule <br /> The Board considered approving the Fiscal Year 2013-14 Budget Ordinance, County <br /> Grant Projects, and County Fee Schedule. <br /> Chair Jacobs noted the white sheet at the Commissioners' places, which outlines some <br /> changes to this item. <br /> Clarence Grier reviewed the attachments as well as highlights from the following <br /> ordinance: <br /> Fiscal Year 2013-14 <br />
