Festivities <br /> begin the Friday evening before. <br /> • Admission is free to the public. <br /> Efland Ruritan Rodeo <br /> • A Ruritan Club family-oriented event in Efland, now in its 20th year. <br /> • Professional cowboys/cowgirls show off skills in bull riding, breakaway roping, bareback and saddle <br /> bronc riding, steer wrestling, the famous rodeo clowns, and more. <br /> • Visitors can try their luck on the mechanical bull. Special entertainment, vendors, food offered. <br /> • The 2013 Rodeo takes place in October. <br /> Carrboro Music Fest <br /> • Coordinated effort by Carrboro Recreation and Parks Department and Carrboro Music Festival <br /> Planning Committee. The 2013 Carrboro Music Festival is Sunday, September 29, 2013. <br /> • Daylong, free festival features 150 performing acts at 25 indoor and outdoor venues throughout <br /> downtown Carrboro. <br /> • Varied musical acts, Triangle-based performers.
