ATTACHMENT 1 <br />2. Analysis <br />The proposed access management plan examines the US 70 and Old Highway 10 <br />corridors within the Eno EDD and recommends an access management concept to <br />best meet local conditions. The improvement of the functionality of these arterials to <br />both serve commuting and travelling traffic together with serving the businesses and <br />residences along these routes is of high local and strategic importance as future <br />development proceeds in the Eno EDD. <br />10 <br />Comprehensive Plan Linkage (i.e. Principles, Goals and Objectives) <br />Transportation Goal 3: Integrated land use planning and transportation planning that <br />serves existing development supports future development, and is consistent with the <br />County's land use plans which include provisions for preserving the natural <br />environment and community character. <br />Transportation Policy Statement: The intent was that the access management policy <br />framework of the Orange Grove Road Project (2003) be applied in other areas of the <br />County. <br />4.
