I <br />Orange County Personnel Ordinance Issue Date: August 5, 2011 <br />23.0 Personal Leave Days <br />Repealed Effective December 31, 2010. <br />24.0 Furlough <br />Amended <br />06/21/11 <br />24.1 From time to time a Furlough Plan may be implemented. <br />24.1.1 Mandatory Furlough. The Board of County Commissioners may by <br />resolution implement a mandatory furlough plan. <br />24.1.2 Voluntary Furlough. The County Manager may implement a voluntary <br />furlough plan as provided in Subsection 24.3. <br />24.2 An employee who takes a furlough shall not lose seniority, shall not be required to <br />pay employer paid benefits and shall earn and retain all leave at the same rate, <br />unless otherwise provided by the Board, as if the cost saving measure had not <br />occurred. <br />24.3 The County Manager shall provide Administrative Rules and Regulations to carry <br />out the provisions of the section. <br />Article IV - Page 26 <br />
