8 <br /> On the question, "Shall the order authorizing up to $1.200.000 of general obligation bonds of <br /> Orange County, for the purpose of paying capital costs of expanding sanitary sewer systems. <br /> together with related financing and other necessary or incidental costs, as adopted by the <br /> County's Board of Commissioners on August 25, 1997, be approved?" <br /> YES 8876 <br /> NO 7154 <br /> and it therefore appearing that a majority of voters voting in referenda called for such purposes <br /> have approved the issuance of such bonds, <br /> BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Orange County, <br /> North Carolina,that the Board hereby certifies and approves such results and declares the <br /> issuance of such bonds to be authorized;and, <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk to this Board is hereby authorized and <br /> directed promptly to publish a statement of such results in the form prescribed by statute. <br />
