<br /> 4. EXTRA SERVICES AND SPEGIAL CASES.--IS the Architect 1s caused extra

<br /> by fire, he shall be equitably paid for such extra expense and the service in-

<br /> 1s to be distinguished Srom the continuous personal superintendence to be ob-
<br /> tained by the employment of a clerk-of-the-works.

<br /> Ovmer end Architect shell be engaged by the Architect at a salary satisfactory
<br /> to the Ovmer and paid by tho Owner, upon presentation of the Architect's monthl

<br /> 8. PRELItAINAAY ESTI1dATES..--When requested to do so the Arehitset ,vill fur
<br /> nish preliminary estimates on the cost of the work, but he does not guerahtee~
<br /> the accuracy of such estimates.
