Commissioner Gordon asked about the rationale for allowing <br /> the extraction of earth products as a special use in the AS district. The use <br /> is currently allowed as a special use in the Agricultural Residential zoning <br /> district. It is also similar to agriculture in that it is considered land-based <br /> production. <br /> The Board of Commissioners referred the proposal to the Planning Board <br /> for a recommendation to be returned no sooner than November 3, 1997. <br /> The Planning Staff recommends approval of the proposed text amendments. <br /> (A copy of the proposed amendments is an attachment to these minutes on <br /> pages •) <br /> Katz asked for clarification on outdoor storage except in the case of <br /> agricultural products since it did not seem to be included in the definitions. <br /> Cameron responded that Agricultural Service Uses is listed in the <br /> permitted use table.
