13 <br /> 9 <br /> CAPACITY BUILDING AGREEMEMT <br /> APPENDIX A - FY197 <br /> STATEMENT OF WORK <br /> A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> 1 . The Recipient agrees to process those housing <br /> discrimination complaints arising within its <br /> jurisdiction, except as otherwise stated in this <br /> Statement of Work. The Recipient agrees to cooperate <br /> with HUD in handling and processing housing <br /> discrimination complaints filed under the Fair Housing <br /> Act and the fair housing law enforced by the agency in <br /> accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding or <br /> Interim Agreement and any amendments or revisions <br /> thereto executed during the course of this agreement by <br /> the signatories. <br /> 2 . The Recipient agrees to implement appropriate <br /> directives provided to it by the Department . <br /> 3 . The Recipient agrees to follow HUD' s Technical Guidance <br /> in processing all dual-filed complaints vouchered for <br /> under this Cooperative Agreement until the Department <br /> rescinds the requirement in writing to the Recipient . <br /> 4 . The Recipient agrees to furnish all staffing <br /> information as required by Article 1 of this <br /> Cooperative Agreement . <br /> 5 . The Recipient may be required to participate in <br /> customer satisfaction research and evaluation <br /> activities under this cooperative agreement . The <br /> Recipient agrees to furnish all information collected <br /> from its customers to HUD in a form to be defined by <br /> the Department . <br /> B. CAPACITY BUILDING <br /> The Recipient agrees to develop a complaint processing <br /> capability sufficient to enable the Recipient to process all <br /> housing discrimination complaints arising under its <br /> jurisdiction in future years. The Recipient also agrees to <br /> process housing discrimination complaints in accordance with <br /> A. above, General Requirements, and in accordance with the <br /> Criteria for Processing which are incorporated herein as <br /> Attachment A to the Schedule of Articles . <br />
