The schedule must <br /> show the date,time and place of each meeting. The calendar was presented on October 6 for <br /> discussion. Several changes to the schedule were approved. The calendar, as corrected,reflects one <br /> meeting with each of the towns of Hillsborough,Carrboro and Chapel Hill. One meeting will be <br /> held with each of the two school boards as well as one joint meeting. The location for two of the <br /> bimonthly work sessions was changed to the"NEW' Southern Human Services Center. All <br /> meetings will begin at 7:30 p.m.with the exception of June 8, 10 and 16. The June 18 meeting was <br /> moved forward to June 22 and the August 4 and September 29 meetings were canceled. The <br /> calendar attached to this abstract reflects the changes made by the County Commissioners. The <br /> meetings for the Assembly of Governments will be scheduled as needed. <br /> NOTE: As additional information,please refer to the attached memorandum from Mary Willis, <br /> Current Planning Supervisor to John Link, County Manager,with regard to the time schedule of <br /> review of Preliminary Plans at the June 22 regular meeting and the August 11 work session, and the <br /> approval of the August public hearing advertisement at the August 11 work session. These <br /> adjustments allow us to continue with plans to eliminate the August 4 regular meeting. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Calendar for <br /> 1998. <br />
