13 9 CAPACITY BUILDING AGREEMEMT APPENDIX A - FY197 STATEMENT OF WORK A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1. The Recipient agrees to process those housing discrimination complaints arising within its jurisdiction, except as otherwise stated in this Statement of Work. The Recipient agrees to cooperate with HUD in handling and processing housing discrimination complaints filed under the Fair Housing Act and the fair housing law enforced by the agency in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding or Interim Agreement and any amendments or revisions thereto executed during the course of this agreement by the signatories. 2 . The Recipient agrees to implement appropriate directives provided to it by the Department. 3 . The Recipient agrees to follow HUD' s Technical Guidance in processing all dual-filed complaints vouchered for under this Cooperative Agreement until the Department rescinds the requirement in writing to the Recipient . 4 . The Recipient agrees to furnish all staffing information as required by Article 1 of this Cooperative Agreement. 5 . The Recipient may be required to participate in customer satisfaction research and evaluation activities under this cooperative agreement. The Recipient agrees to furnish all information collected from its customers to HUD in a form to be defined by the Department. B. CAPACITY BUILDING The Recipient agrees to develop a complaint processing capability sufficient to enable the Recipient to process all housing discrimination complaints arising under its jurisdiction in future years. The Recipient also agrees to process housing discrimination complaints in accordance with A. above, General Requirements, and in accordance with the - Criteria for Processing which are incorporated herein as Attachment A to the Schedule of Articles.
