Our number one priority project continues to <br /> be improvements to Homestead Road (U-2805) to address school safety issues. Our number <br /> one priority policy issue is the process used to initiate a feasibility study to consider a possible <br /> widening of Mt. Carmel Church Road (R-3829) to a multi-lane facility. <br /> The second section describes the projects Orange County is requesting for the parts of <br /> the county that lie outside the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Area.
