The program has operated under three agreements; (1) an interlocal agreement <br /> between local governments; (2) a joint agreement with local governments and Triangle J Council of <br /> Governments; (3) agreement between local governments and Laidlaw Environmental Services. <br /> The Triangle J Council of Governments household hazardous waste committee and Laidlaw <br /> Environmental Services drafted the enclosed amendment, which addresses changes to contract cost ; <br /> performance review, to include new requirements for reduction in per capita cost; and additional <br /> OSHA requirements. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the amendment to <br /> the Laidlaw Environmental Services Agreement for Household Hazardous Waste Collection, and <br /> authorize the chair to sign. <br />
