Griffin, Raleigh: Base bid $2,964,000+ 120,000 Alternate for sitework= $3,084,000 <br /> NOTE. The sitework in the alternate is the left turn lane that we would like to see moved <br /> up on the TIP. We bid it as a separate item so it would be easy to identify in the event <br /> DOT agreed to move Homestead Road up on the priority list. If DOT dogs not build i w <br /> must <br /> Electrical contract: County made an <br /> Watson Electric, Graham: $314,300 effort to get the <br /> Mechanical Contract: Homestead Rd.Improvements <br /> Comfort Engineers, Durham: $518,850 moved up on the <br /> TIP. DOT did not <br /> Plumbing Contract: grant that request. <br /> Eakins Plumbing Co, Durham: $110,000 <br /> These bids (including the left turn lane)total $4,027,150. <br /> The budget for this project(including the $900,000 added by BOCC at various times during the <br /> process) stands at$3,166,895. There is a deficit of$860,255. <br /> HakanlCorley is presently looking at options regarding what can be done to reduce the cost of <br /> the project. As their information becomes available I will keep you apprised. <br />
