Ordinance Review Committee <br /> Cameron reported that the ordinance amendments discussed by the <br /> Committee will be presented at public hearing August 25 and will be <br /> reviewed later in the meeting. <br /> e. Shaping Orange County's Future <br /> Allison reported that a meeting was held July 24 and six citizen committees <br /> have been formed to collect and study specific issues of the initial goals for <br /> Shaping Orange County's Future. The six committees are: <br /> Economic Development <br /> Education <br /> Environment and Resource Protection <br /> Land Use and Growth Management <br /> Social Advancement and Community Health/Safety <br /> Transportation,Infrastructure,and Services <br /> He continued that the individual committees also met in July. A list of <br /> speakers has been prepared for each of the committees and Allison asked <br /> that the list of committee members and speakers be provided to the <br /> Planning Board. Planning Staff working with Shaping Orange County's <br /> Future will be asked to provide that information to all Planning Board <br /> members. Allison noted that he is serving on the Transportation, <br /> Infrastructure,and Services committee. <br /> AGENDA ITEM#8: SUBDIVISION APPLICATIONS <br /> a. Preliminary Plans <br /> (1) University Manor Phase III <br /> (Chapel Hill Township-72 Lots) <br /> Presentation by Emily Cameron. A copy of the abstract information is an <br /> attachment to these minutes on pages <br /> Using a map,Cameron indicated the location of the total project for <br /> University Manor and reviewed the acreage and number of lots for each <br /> phase. <br /> Barrows asked the number of lots to be served by the three community <br /> wells. Harry Mitchell,engineer for the project,responded that 72 lots <br /> will be served by the three community wells in this phase. <br /> Selkirk asked about the drainage areas. Cameron responded that they are <br /> only swales,natural low areas where the actual drainage would go. They <br /> are areas that are normally dry. <br /> Allison asked if there were any areas where the intent is to have individual <br /> wells. Cameron responded,and the engineer agreed,that the entire project <br /> is to be served by the community system. <br />
