22
Memorandum
Date: 05/7/96
To: Mary Willis
CC: Gee Bell
From: Sig a cCalip
Subject: Traffic Impact Analysis for University Manor, March 12, 1996, Orange County, NC
This memo is to inform you that I have reviewed the above mentioned Traffic Impact Analysis and
have the following comments:
a) that the methods used and the findings presented on page 5 are reasonable,
b) that the conclusion and recommendations for mitigation on pages 5 &6 will be adequate to
address traffic conditions at the entrances mentioned and I also recommend that left turn lanes
be constructed at entrances A& D also,
c) that the left turn lanes for each entrance be completed before each Phase begins construction,
d) that lots 9 through 14 in Phase IV be accessed by an internal street and not on Old NC 10, and
e) that some provision (multi-use path or additional lane width on the main collector street through
Phases II & III) be made for pedestrian and bicycle access from each Phase to the proposed
Park Area.
Please call me at ext. 2595 if you have any questions about these comments.
