2 <br /> RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION <br /> for <br /> PEARSON STEWART <br /> WHEREAS, Pearson Stewart was appointed as a member of the Orange <br /> County Agricultural Districts Advisory Board on June 30, 1993; and <br /> WHEREAS, he faithfully served his fellow citizens of Orange County on <br /> this volunteer commission which laid the foundation for the County's <br /> program of voluntary farmland preservation; and <br /> WHEREAS, his knowledge and experience in land conservation and planning <br /> consistently guided the Agricultural Districts Advisory Board in their <br /> efforts; <br /> THEREFORE, the members of the Orange County Board of Commissioners do <br /> hereby thank Pearson Stewart, upon his retirement from the Orange <br /> County Agricultural Districts Advisory Board, for the service he <br /> performed on their behalf. <br /> ADOPTED this the 4th day of August, 1997. <br /> William L.
