70 <br /> Technology Plan <br /> Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools <br /> Capital Project Ordinance <br /> Project Number 64-7111 <br /> Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section 13.2 <br /> of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following capital project is hereby <br /> adopted. <br /> Section 1. The project authorized will provide one computer and printer for every four students and <br /> laser disk players, CD-ROM drives, modems, and other related hardware for each classroom in the <br /> District. This project will be financed with proceeds from the Schools' portion of the one-half cent sales <br /> taxes. <br /> Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project within the <br /> budget contained herein. <br /> Section 3. The following revenue is anticipated to complete this project: <br /> Transferfrom School Capital Reserve Fund(1992-93) $100,000 <br /> Transferfrom General Fund(1993-94) $392,502 <br /> Transferfrom General Fund(1994-95) $500,000 <br /> Transferfrom General Fund(1995-96) $500,000 <br /> Transferfrom General Fund(1996-97) $1,000,000 <br /> Transferfrom General Fund(1997-98) $380,000 <br /> Public School Building Fund(1997-98) $320,000 <br /> Total Revenue $3,192,502 <br /> Section 4. The following amount is appropriated for this project: <br /> Technology Project $3,192,502 <br /> Section 5. This ordinance supersedes all previous Technology Capital Project Ordinances for the <br /> Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools System. <br /> Section 6.
