51 <br /> New Hope Creek Corridor Project <br /> Capital Project Ordinance <br /> Project Number 61-662 <br /> Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to <br /> Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina,the following capital <br /> project is hereby adopted. <br /> Section 1. The project authorized will provide for a wildlife habitat and hiking and biking <br /> trails along a twenty-three mile corridor from rural Orange County to Jordan <br /> Lake. This project will be financed with proceeds from the County's portion of <br /> the one-half cent sales taxes and subdivision payment-in-lieu funds. <br /> Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project <br /> within the budget contained herein. <br /> Section 3. The following revenue is anticipated to complete this project: <br /> Transfer from Subdivision Fund(1995-96) $15,000, <br /> Transfer from General Fund(1996-97) $5,000 <br /> Transfer from Payment-in-Lieu(1996-97) $10,000 <br /> Transfer from Payment-in-Lieu(1997-98) $15.00 0 <br /> Total Revenue $45,000 <br /> Section 4. The following amount is appropriated for this project: <br /> New Hope Creek Corridor $45,000 <br /> Section 5. This ordinance supersedes all previous New Hope Creek Corridor Capital Project <br /> Ordinances. <br /> Section 6.
