We will <br /> gain an understanding of the look and feel of your buildings, how they support or don't <br /> support the work of your employees and their purpose and function. We will also look at <br /> how the space is utilized. It will also give us a basis of understanding of existing conditions <br /> that will help us in the activities that follow. <br /> Activity 1.3 <br /> ECS we will provide questionnaires to organizational department heads, key FM <br /> personnel, and senior management to create a general understanding of department. <br /> Isolated follow up interviews may be conducted depending on the results of the surveys <br /> and Activity 1.2. <br /> Purpose <br /> To gain an understanding of: <br /> • The overall strategy of the organization <br /> • What their department's business goals and initiatives are. <br /> • The business culture and operations. <br /> • What the user experience is and should be of the various constituencies (employees, <br /> visitors, vendors, potential employees, client's families). <br /> • How services are being delivered today. <br /> • How existing facilities support or hinder service delivery. <br /> • How increasing technical aspects of how they provide services may change service <br /> delivery. <br /> • What impediments are inherent in the existing space that restricts efficiency and <br /> effectiveness? <br /> • What the generational demographics of the future workforce. <br /> • What challenges you face in managing your facilities. <br /> • What the facility experience is of your employees, your visitors and your client's families <br /> and what it is desired to be. <br />
