, 2 <br /> This subgrant provides funds to actually implement goals that were developed during the <br /> Community Voices training over the last several years. The outcomes funded by this subgrant <br /> will enable community-based organizations to become more independent from governmental <br /> agencies in addressing priorities they have identified at the community level. <br /> Recommendation: <br /> The Manager recommends that the Board of Commissioners authorize the Health Department to <br /> accept this subgrant as fiscal agent for the Community-Based Public Health Initiative and <br /> authorize the Health Director to sign the subgrant agreement. <br />
